"Culture eats strategy for breakfast" - this insight about corporate strategy applies just as much to data and analytics as it does to any other department. Data and analytics strategies - and their associated technology investments - must be supported and sustained by a data culture in the company, otherwise they will remain largely ineffective.
Learn how you can create and foster a positive data culture that enables a data-driven company. Based on the BARC Data Culture Framework and results of the Data Culture Survey, Dr. Bange explains the most important starting points that organizations can take to support the emergence of a positive data culture.
Dr. Carsten Bange has built BARC over the past 25 years. As its founder and CEO, he's been at the forefront of the leading European market analysis and consulting firm for Data & Analytics. Together with his team of 50, he supports companies in their strategic, organizational, and technological decisions, ensuring their transformation into data and analytics-driven organizations is successful.
Dr. Bange is considered one of the leading experts in the technology market and the beneficial use of Data & Analytics, making him a sought-after speaker, author, and advisor for user companies, software and service providers, and investors.
"Frictionless Data Work" - A rapidly changing business environment requires dynamic, adaptable solutions. Since data is one of the key assets to understand this evolving environment and create a competitive advantage, producing speedy data innovations is a must. This is especially true as we shift into an AI-powered future. The friction slowing you down can be difficult to detect - lack of vision, investments, technology, ways of working, skills and more.
Just imagine what you could aspire to without this friction!
