When?

Mark your calendars for November 9th. The summit takes off at 3 pm EET and will feature a range of enlightening sessions until 6 pm.

But the fun doesn't stop there! After the official program, we invite all attendees to a networking event to continue the discussions and share insights under the backdrop of Helsinki's city lights.

Where?

The summit will be held at Solita’s offices, conveniently located next to Esplanade Park in Helsinki.

The main sessions will be held in the Auditorium on the -1 floor, and as the day progresses, we'll move to the 5th-floor Meet-up Lounge for a cozy afterparty.

Keynote: Joe Reis 🤓

Joe Reis is a “recovering data scientist” and co-author of the best-selling O’Reilly book, Fundamentals of Data Engineering. He’s a business-minded data nerd who’s worked in the data industry for 20 years, with responsibilities ranging from statistical modeling, forecasting, machine learning, data engineering, data architecture, and almost everything else.

Joe hosts the popular data podcasts The Monday Morning Data Chat and The Joe Reis Show, keynotes major data conferences worldwide, and advises and invests in next-generation data product companies.

In his spare time, he’s writing new books and thinking of ideas to push the data industry to the next level.

Fireside chat: Eevi-Inkeri Forsman
Data Engineer Team Lead, SOK

Eevi-Inkeri is the Data Engineer Team Lead at SOK, where she has been creating value with data for five years. Currently, she leads the development of the Retail Data Warehouse at SOK.

With an MSc. in Mathematics and a career spanning Aktia Pankki Oyj and other data engineering roles, Eevi-Inkeri is a valuable asset to the S-group team since 2021.

Fireside chat: Janne Nikkola
Head of Data Management & Data Platform, Neste

Janne is responsible for transforming Neste into the world's leading data-driven renewable fuels and circular economy company.

Janne is a highly experienced people-, process-, data-, & solution-oriented doer, who has worked in various consulting and management positions in several different branches of the manufacturing industry.

Fireside chat: Karri Linnoinen
Chief Data Officer, Nordic Investment Bank

Karri is the CDO at Nordic Investment Bank, where he leads the Business Intelligence & Data Architecture team.
His team is responsible for developing the bank’s data platforms and analytical capabilities.

Prior to joining NIB, Karri has worked for Nokia and in consulting, delivering data and cloud projects for customers in a variety of different industries.

ADE Update: Harri Kallio, Head of Product, Agile Data Engine

Harri Kallio is one of the co-founders of Agile Data Engine product and business, and he acts as Head of Product.

He has 20 years of experience in software product development -- majority in data-intensive and operational analytics landscape in international market. His hands-on experience combined with the enthusiasm in product visions, strategies and tactics is what he is well-known of.

Harri has a special interest and profound understanding about modern database technologies and performance architectures.

ADE Update: Pasi Jalonen, Head of Operations, Agile Data Engine

Pasi Jalonen is one of the co-founders behind the Agile Data Engine product and business.

With a substantial 25-year career in the data and analytics realm, Pasi has extensive experience in implementing data management and business intelligence solutions, along with spearheading data transformation initiatives in large organizations.

For half of his professional journey, he has been helping customers in consulting and advisory roles, and building and developing Solita’s data business.
Presently, Pasi serves as head of operations for the Agile Data Engine team, and is passionate about making sense of the world, and explaining it to others.
